Editorial and Commercial Photography in Japan

As a photographer with 20 years of experience with both commercial and editorial work, few subjects or areas are new to me. Most of my work these days is related to travel in Japan, but I’ve covered many kinds of photography during my career. From documenting heavy industry and infrastructure construction sites, to commercial photo shoots with subjects ranging from Instagram influencers and sportswear brands to luxury hotels and regional tourism boards. And, since my roots are in news journalism, I’ve also both photographed and written countless breaking news stories, including during the great Japan Earthquake and subsequent nuclear disaster in Fukushima. 

Fun fact - for several years I was the official correspondent Japan for both one of Sweden’s leading daily newspapers as well as one of the most prominent travel magazines in the country.
