I like airports. I like the feeling of people from all corners of the world heading somewhere, and i like the impressive architecture that more or less are typical for airports.
The photos above are from the airports in Seoul/Incheon and Beijing, and the air in between. Two magnificent places that, apart from the lousy service at the Chinese one, are sure to impress most visitors.
Unfortunatley, the same cannot be said about arriving at Arlanda, the biggest airport in Sweden. Even though signs are doing what they can to welcome me to “the capital of Scandinavia”, it feels more like some eastern-european communist state before the fall of the Berlin wall. As a swede i feel kind of embarrassed that the first thing that meets most of our foreign visitors is this:
