1933 is another one of Shanghais old industries turned into a “creativity center”. This time it’s an old slaughterhouse that got the makeover. Not as exciting as M50, but still well worth a visit (its free), especially for anyone with a soft spot for sunlight filtered through big dirty windows and/or a an overdose of concrete.
