Clubbing in Shanghai

This weekend I sampled the club-scene of Shanghai for the first time. It seems as if this city is not that impressing when it comes to enjoying loud music with drunk people. Particularly since basically all clubs are by and for expats, rather than the local community. At least that’s what my friend Lea told me, and since she is Shanghainese, she should know what she’s talking about. I don’t really enjoy places where there are more foreigners than locals…
Anyway, Logo and Shelter are supposed to be among the better places in this city, at least for anyone who shares my taste of music. Last night I went to both places, and even though they were alright, comparing them to any decent place in Berlin or even Stockholm made them look just so-so. Good thing I don’t care that much for clubs these days as I did before…

I see you managed to include half my face in the final LOGO shot, although I wasn’t gurning like an idiot too much, and people tell me it’s my better side anyway…
